“Iidaya style” that is a mix of blue Kutani in red picture has been completed through the early Meiji era from the late Edo period. It is large-hearted and beautiful painting style that had begun in the old Kutani.
One of most distinguished features of this beautiful Iidaya style bowl is the harmony of red small patterns (Komon) on the edge and Kutani blue paintings on the inside of the vessel.
