First artist to paint KOKUTANI Style in “kutani gosai” (green, yellow, purple, navy, red.) His work is known for using colors in green, yellow. It has deep shades and layers to attract the viewer. His overseas exhibitions have received high acclaim.
Tatsuya Mitsui
Tatsuya Mitsui was born in 1972. He returned to Kanazawa after graduating from Kyoto Prefectural Potter Vocational High School in 1999 and started to study and work with his father, Tamekichi III. Certified as a traditional craftsman by the Association for the Promotion of Traditional Craft Industries in 2011.
